Outlet store robbed at gunpoint, suspects fled in vehicle
On Friday, January 27 two men wearing hoods and ski masks entered the Talbot Outlet Store at the Tanger Outlet Mall on Fording Island Road in Bluffton today at approximately 1:52 p.m.
According to police reports, one suspect was armed with pistol and asked a clerk to open the safe after grabbing the bank bag. The suspects then fled through the rear door of the store.
The suspects were described as black men, medium build, between 5’8” and 5’10” and believed to be between 16 and 25 years of age. The suspects jumped into a dark blue, four door, 2008 Nissan Altima with tinted windows, where two other black men were waiting. They fled in the vehicle in the direction of Fording Island Road towards Burnt Church Road.
