Beaufort County public schools hosting a back to school expo
Beaufort County public schools will host a Back to School Expo Saturday, July 31 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in the cafeteria of Battery Creek High School, 1 Blue Dolphin Drive, Beaufort, SC according to a press release.
This event is free and is open to all Beaufort County Schools students and their parents.
Titled “Putting the Pieces Together, Supporting Home, School & Community,” the expo will provide students and parents with information on good study habits, school uniforms (modeled), parent conferences, substance abuse prevention, school attendance requirements, student behavior and discipline, and other important topics.
About 40 local, state and federal agencies and organizations will have booths and representatives at the event to answer questions about their services and to offer information and materials.
The expo is designed to provide a direct connection between community service agencies and those who may services, and will provide information for students and parents on the upcoming school year.
Magic Marc will provide entertainment, and lunch will be provided at no charge.
