Accused Yemassee murderer charged with intimidation

Accused Yemassee murderer charged with intimidation

A Yemassee man out of jail on bond violated the conditions of his bond and was arrested on July 22 for attempting to threaten or intimidate a victim/witness, according to a Hampton County Sheriff’s Office press release.

Brandon L. Greene, 29, of 557 Tulifinny Road, Yemassee, was originally charged with murder and assault and battery with intent to kill on Oct. 3, 2009 after shooting and killing Dominick Badger and shooting a second victim, Antonio Badger on Oct. 2, 2009.

Greene was released from jail on bond on June 6, 2010 and a GPS monitor device was placed on his leg. The condition of his bond was that he could have no contact with the victim or the victim’s family. On July 22, 2010 around 9 p.m., the Hampton County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the company that was monitoring Greene, and they stated that Greene had breached the buffer zone and had contact with a member of the Badger family.

On July 22, 2010, allegedly Greene made contact with a certain member of the Badger family and subsequently made contact with an additional member of the Badger family on the same date. The address in which Greene was located is the home of the victim, Anthony Badger. Greene was to have no contact directly or indirectly with the victim as it constitutes a threat and intimidation, or the attempt to threaten or intimidate the victim/witness.

Greene has been denied bond by Chief Magistrate Carolyn Williams for the current charges with attempting to threaten or intimidate a victim/witness.

What in the world were they thinking when they let a murderer out on bond? That’s insane! Sometimes I seriously fear the way our laws and regulations work! That’s sad for the victims family to have to be bothered by the murderer himself?

    2. Jeremy Wilson says:

A murder suspect out on bond? What is the court doing, and now charging with “intimidation”, what a joke.
