    Informant helps convict drug dealer

    A a drug informant working an undercover operation last year helped convict an Orangeburg man during court this week.

    Rodriguez Wolfe (29) pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana within proximity of a school, distribution of crack cocaine and possession of a sawed-off shotgun. Wolfe was sentenced on each charge to 42 months in prison, to be served concurrently.

    A drug informant made several purchases from Wolfe at his home in the fall of 2009. Soon after, warrants were served his house where authorities discovered cocaine, marijuana and crack cocaine, according to warrants against Wolfe.
