Haley beats Barrett, Patrick beats Chalk
In the Republican primary runoff on Tuesday, June 22, Nikki Haley beat Gresham Barrett for the Republican nomination for governor of South Carolina in Beaufort County and statewide. In southern Beaufort County four-term incumbent state representative Richard Chalk was defeated by newcomer Andy Patrick, who got 70% of the vote. Here are the complete results for the county:
