Low-cost neuter clinic for male cats

The Beaufort County Animal Shelter and the Humane Association of the Lowcountry are sponsoring a low-cost neuter clinic for male cats on Saturday, June 26.

The service is being offered by appointment only for $15.00 and will be held at the St. Helena Fire Station, located at the intersection of Sea Island Parkway and Fripp Point Road.

The neutering is part of a multi-pronged, long range campaign to reduce the number of unwanted animals in Beaufort County. Animal shelter officials say 4 million homeless pets die in shelters each year in the U.S.

Appointments may be made by calling 843-846-3904. You must be a resident of Beaufort County to participate.
