Ladys Island Elementary first graders spot dolphins
First grade students at Ladys Island Elementary School finished their unit on Sharks, Whales, and Dolphins by riding aboard “The Vagabond” in Hilton Head. There was much excitement as the children saw the dolphins making a splash in the river.
The date of the field trip was Thursday, May 20. The students pictured are in Mrs. Lori Alford’s class.

I am so proud of my lovely students at Lady’s Island Elementary!
Lori, you are a SUPER STAR TEACHER!
Local field trips are wonderful learning experiences for students.
I do hope that all of the children were wearing life jackets when the boat was moving.
