Local Weather

The Beaufort Tribune is pleased to announce that we have upgraded our local weather service to provide even better up-to-the minute weather and tide information for northern Beaufort County.

The Beaufort Tribune maintains a complete Personal Weather Station (PWS) in downtown Beaufort that records and reports weather data every three seconds to the National Weather Service, Weather Underground and other worldwide weather data gathering and reporting services.

The Beaufort Tribune is the only media outlet resident in Beaufort County with its own PWS. The Weather Underground information for the Beaufort area shown opposite comes from our PWS and is carried by Weather Underground around the world via the Internet to report meteorological conditions for the Beaufort area.
