Technical College graduates nurses
Technical College of the Lowcountry, located on Ribaut Road in Beaufort, held its graduation ceremonies this past Thursday, May 13, for its 2010 class of new medical nurses. The degree is a two-year associates in nursing program. Students work with local hospitals to get direct, hands-on clinical experience throughout their training.
Many graduates devoted up to three years to the program due to other obligations in their lives by splitting up some of the more time-consuming classes.
