    May 10: Confederate Memorial Day service at Beaufort National Cemetery

    Beaufort’s Gen. Richard H. Anderson Camp of the Sons of Confederate Veterans and the Stephen Elliott Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy will host Beaufort’s annual Confederate Memorial Day service on Monday, May 10, at 7 p.m. at Beaufort National Cemetery.

    Guest speaker will be Don Gordon, a former US Marine and past Lt. Commander of the South Carolina Division of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. Following the service, light refreshments will be served by members of the Stephen Elliott Chapter of the UDC.

    The service is open to the public and those interested are encouraged to attend.
