Prominent Beaufort construction contractor faces drug trafficking charges
A prominent Beaufort construction contractor was arrested Tuesday afternoon by the Beaufort County sheriff’s office on drug trafficking charges. Raymond Gordon “Trey” Ambrose, owner of Pro Slab, Inc., a local concrete foundation construction firm, was charged with cocaine sale and distribution and drug trafficking.
He was booked into the Beaufort County Detention Center at 6:28 p.m. on February 9 and released the following morning on personal recognizance.
