    The Beaufort Tribune seeks associate editor

    If current trends continue, The Beaufort Tribune’s readership will grow from 246,000 page views in December to more than 400,000 page views in January, with every passing month showing greater and greater growth. As a result, we need help. We are seeking a qualified person to serve as our associate editor.

    • Inquisitive, smart, articulate, outspoken
    • Eager, energetic, good humored
    • Familiar with the local area and interested in learning more
    • Computer literate, grammatically correct
    • Unafraid of criticism from intolerant persons
    • Self starter who enjoys independent work
    • Untarnished by the dogmas of journalism school
    • Enjoys working with a visionary and strong-willed chief
    • Willing to work for fun until local businesses wake up to the fact that we are the least expensive, widest coverage, highest visibility outlet for their advertising and promotional dollars
