    We don’t normally publish items that originate outside our local area, but today we’re breaking our rule to bring you a “way cool” video report by NASA that Jack Howison forwarded to us–the launching from just down the coast at nearby Cape Canaveral, Florida, of the most recent space shuttle mission, STS-129, to the International Space Station:

    Please be patient; it may take a bit of time to load.

    Folks born after a certain date may take for granted that human beings have always been able to achieve such heights, but to the editor of The Beaufort Tribune a mission such as this can only be described as a miracle.
