Sunset over Charleston harbor, Sunday, November 1, 2009
A reader of The Beaufort Tribune who resides on Sullivans Island sent us the above photograph that her husband took late Sunday afternoon of sunset over Charleston harbor. She said “The sun may rise over Beaufort but it sets over Charleston!” And we must agree, this is one magnificent sunset.

If you look closely you will see a large container ship sailing into port.
