Riverview Charter School seeks board member
Riverview Charter School is seeking from the community at-large nominees for a one-year term on its board of directors. Members are elected annually to the board of directors by the parents and faculty of the school.
Riverview is currently seeking nominees with experience in finance and communications. Nominees should bring leadership, dedication to the mission and commitment to serve. Each board member serves as a committee chair.

Riverview is the first charter school in Beaufort county. It opened in August 2009 and serves students in kindergarten through fifth grades. The school will add sixth grade for the 2010-2011 school year and seventh and eighth grades the following two years respectively.
Riverview is open to all students in Beaufort county and is tuition free. There is no testing requirement for admission. The school is located at 302 Burroughs Avenue, Beaufort. Its principal is Eleanore Bednarsh.
