Photo of the week: Cannon fire over the rice fields

    In an event reminiscent of the years between 1861 and 1865, members of the Gen. Richard H. Anderson Camp of the Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV) and the Stephen Elliott Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC) gathered Saturday to view the firing of a cannon over the rice fields near Yemassee after a traditional Lowcountry picnic.
