Burglary suspects arrested minutes after burglary reported
Three burglary suspects are in custody following Tuesday night’s burglary of a residence at Taylor’s Mobile Home Park, according to a press release by the Beaufort County sheriff’s department. They were arrested minutes after deputies arrived at the scene of the reported burglary.

Lajuane Marshay Bleach

Willie McKinley Josey

Maria Antoinette Williams
Deputies arrested Lajuane Marshay Bleach of Port Royal, Willie McKinley Josey of Burton, and Maria Antoinette Williams of Beaufort, all age 22, after stopping them leaving the area of the freshly committed burglary just after 11:00 p.m. Tuesday.
The deputies arrived at the scene following an anonymous report of a burglary in progress at the mobile home park. Upon arrival, they noticed a dark gray Honda Accord driving through the park with the headlights off. They stopped the car and found the driver to be Williams with two passengers, Bleach and Josey. When asked to exit the vehicle, Bleach attempted to flee on foot, but was apprehended after a brief pursuit, according to the release.
With Bleach, Williams and Josey detained, deputies discovered a broken window and an unsecured door at the home located at lot 7 in the mobile home park. They contacted the occupant, who confirmed that her home had been burglarized. A search of the suspects’ vehicle yielded a 42-inch flat panel television, a DVD player, a car stereo amplifier, a digital camera, and several DVDs and CDs, all of which the homeowner identified as her property, according to the report.
All three suspects were subsequently charged with first degree burglary and grand larceny. Bleach and Josey also face the additional charge of malicious injury to real property, and Bleach an additional charge of fleeing to evade arrest/detention.
The suspects were transported to the Beaufort County Detention Center where they remain awaiting bond hearings.

F-35Bs will be more than twice as loud
In the May 2010 draft EIS (Environmental Impact Statement) for the Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, the key and crucial noise data for the F-35B was omitted in the 487 pages, substituting instead data assumptions based on the lighter, quieter Air Force F-35A: The Navy wanted the public to comment on the alternative proposals without this major environmental component.
