School board meets tomorrow afternoon
The Beaufort County Board of Education will hold a regular meeting Tuesday afternoon in county council chambers, 100 Ribaut Road, Beaufort. The meeting will begin at 5:00 p.m. with an executive session for one hour to discuss “personnel and student services matters”, followed by a public session beginning at 6:00 p.m.
The publlc agenda includes the following items:
Board Business Action
- Proposed Approval of Riverview Plan
- Proposed Modification and Corresponding Performance Expectations In Annual Workplan
- Update on Bluffton Middle School Sidewalk
- Proposed WBHS Topping Off – November 3 at 3:00 p.m.
New Business
Consent Agenda
- Ratification of Personnel
- Home School Applications
- Adult Education Applications
- Minutes – 9/15/09
At the beginning of the meeting a “Public Conversation” is scheduled. Any person may address the board for a maximum of three minutes on any school-related topic. Each speaker must fill out a public forum card. The forum will be limited to 30 minutes. If not all speakers are able to address the board in that period, additional time may be allotted at the end of the meeting.
