Letter to editor: How could accused murderer of Mario Morgan be found not guilty?
Reader: Mario Morgan died protecting others
Thank you for your thorough reporting of the verdict in the murder trial of the man accused in the unfortunate and senseless shooting death of Mario Morgan.
Many questions still need to be answered and shared with the Beaufort community. How can a person with a documented violent nature who apparently murdered a person in cold blood in front of witnesses be found innocent and released back into the community?
I am strengthened by my love and memories of Mario, the peacemaker, who was doing the right thing by protecting others.
Mario, we miss you every day.
